Another Glorious Day In London Town

We've had another couple of days with glorious weather. How long is it going to last, I wonder? Yesterday I had to go to Camden on business. I haven't been to Camden in probably 10 years and let me tell you it hasn't changed much. It's the same old market stalls where they sell the same old black clothes, black doc martens and silver jewellery. I think the same old hot dog vendor was still there too.

I had to meet with someone who's offices are away from the main drag and as I walked up Parkway I spotted this in a charity shop window.

I've been looking for a statue like this for ages but those I've found was both made of stone and weighed a tonne plus cost a small fortune. This little fella' I'm not sure what it's made of but it's light as a feather and cost a mere £11.99! And it goes to charity! It now sits in front of my (non-working) fire place together with a large green calcite.

Today I took a stroll along South Bank.

There were quite a few tourists but not as bad as a month ago. I walked past the London Eye...

... and walked under the bridges where Charlie Chaplin was doing his make up.

I arrived at Borough Market and as usual it was absolutely packed with people. This is Monmouth Coffeeshop where they make the best coffee in London. Hence the queue.

I liked the look of the florist.

I happily noted that someone at Northfield Farm has got a great sense of humour. :-)

The fish vendor was busy...

... and so was the sausage and cheese stand. I had to be really quick to get a photo without any people's backsides in it.

Oh, and the chocolate smelt diviiiine!!!

Apart from all the tastings I didn't do too badly. I only bought a chocolate fudge brownie. But it was huge!

Helena,
Thank you for stopping by my blog. Nice to meet you! Oh, this tour of London is fabulous. Wish I was there in person to sample the sights and the chocolate. And I definitely would have purchased that Buddha too. He would look very nice on my porch. May he bring you much peace of mind...Enjoy and be blessed!
p.s. I do hope to get to London some day...it is a dream to come to England. :-)

Jason, as himself said...

When I come to London, it will be your job to show me around.
