All Fun And Games Whilst Giving A Massage
Yesterday I was at work giving a client a Kahuna massage when all of a sudden the window opened... from outside... on the second floor!!! I nearly fainted. Luckily my client was so zonked out I don't think she realised what had happened. I quickly covered her up, stuck my hands out from behind the blinds (yeah, luckily there were blinds so at least nobody could look in), and a man's voice said something like uuuhhhh. It turned out that there were building works going on outside but I hadn't really noticed the scaffolding around the house. I certainly hadn't spotted any builders. Anyway, I told the man that I had a client in there and that he had to close the window. He did close the window but guess what? He then started to polish the window sills outside!!! Jeeez, hello!!! I knocked on the window to make him stop. I don't know if it was my frenetic knocking or the fact that he couldn't reach wherever he had to reach with the windows closed but he gave up after a short while. Luckily my client saw the funny side of it and laughed but I'm know for definite not all clients would have found that amusing. It's all fun and games!

Ha ha! The other day I was taking my shirt off in one of the private PT rooms ... about to put on a hospital type gown for The Torturer. A worker guy walked right by the window which faces a garden area. No one is EVER there. Fortunately, he didn't see me. Although if he HAD ... it would have made for good blog fodder! : )
Reminds me of those lovely times when I am working with a client. The client is finally getting to the very painful memories of trauma. And RIGHT THEN the lawn guy with the leaf blower has to be blasting his sound right next to my windows. I want to scream. But somehow I know that won't help AT ALL.
